Wondering when my life would change, not knowing I had just met my husband…

Have you ever been in a place where you feel like you don't know which way you are going in life? Recently, I have been in a place where I feel like I need a change, a new opportunity.  With the end of the year knocking on our door, It's really got me thinking what's next? I am typically keeping my the goals the same since I wasn’t really meeting my goals, but I have finally reached the moment.

It is time for me to set new goals, go to the next level, because I have met a lot of the goals that I have placed for myself. This is where I have been in the past couple of months. So, in this journey of transition I have been doing a lot of, self care, self reflection, and feeding my brain with more positivity. I have been listening to podcasts on creative businesses and entrepreneurship.

I personally felt that it was important to open my mind to new ideas. I even took a couple of online classes in my quest for new opportunities, so that I can grow. I think stimulating my mind with various books, articles, and just really taking the time to explore what else I would like to do.  I am prepping my mind to taking on new opportunities, and not being afraid of where that could take me. I used to be so afraid of what others may think of me. I have been asking myself various questions about what success is, and if I'm not achieving at success.  My definition of success is changing and that will definitely be for another discussion, but for now I am in a place of transition and a place of new opportunities.

I am so thankful for having a husband that is understanding in the place that I am in.  We are able to talk about what we want for our lives.  And what we both want individually and we are both able to listen, encourage, and offer our opinions to.  I enjoy having someone to share this journey called life with and look forward to all the twists and turns that we will go through in the future.

I have a question to the readers out there have you ever felt that way? if you have, what have you done to during your time of transition?  What are some of the things that you enjoy doing to help you understand where you are and where you are going? Mamas, How does this particular time of transition affect your parenting?  I'd like to think that as my child is grows, I certainly am growing in a well rounded sort of way.
